BITE - MARCH 7, 2017
BITE is a dining out fundraiser that is as simple as it is fun! www.biterotary.ca
Rotary arranges to promote dining in participating local restaurants on a night that would otherwise be a little slow, and those restaurants agree to donate a portion of sales to a local charity. As a diner, there is nothing you need to do besides go out for dinner with some friends.
In 2015, Halifax Harbourside organized this fundraiser to benefit St. George’s YouthNet, one of our 2 long term Local/Community projects. In 2016, BITE was taken up by the 6 Rotary clubs in metro Halifax and benefited Hospice Halifax (our other long term Local/Community project). BITE night 2017 is Tuesday March 7th with funds once again going to support Hospice Halifax.
